TRANSITIONAL MASTER BEDROOM RETREAT

The goal of the project was to create a master bedroom retreat. The clients wanted to move from a hystorical traditional style into a more transitional approach. The color scheme was created around a wall art piece.

Project Overview:

The design resulted in a transitional master retreat that offers a serene, relaxing atmosphere in blue and grey. Detail trim frames wall sconces and artwork while breaking up the expansive space. Luxurious bedding and designer fabrics add depth while furniture selections add interest. Sheer window treatments frame the seating area and soft lighting adds to a quiet mood.

TRANSITIONAL MASTER BEDROOM RETREAT

In the sleeping area, a neutral upholstered headboard offers a foundation for the artwork while luxurious, yet subtle bedding allow for the art to be the focus. A coordinating custom bench in a rich fabric at the foot of the bed elevates the design while offering additional function. The sitting area is framed with soft sheer drapery and shading adding to the serenity of the soft blue color scheme.
